Juvenile arrested for alleged robbery

A juvenile has been arrested for his alleged role in a robbery Sunday night on West First Street.

Hopkinsville police say the 17-year old male and two other suspects forced their way inside a home in the 600 block of West First, assaulted the 21-year old male victim inside and took marijuana, cash and a handgun.

The teen, who is a Hopkinsville resident, was arrested several hours later and charged with complicity to first-degree robbery.

The other two suspects remain at large and anyone with information on the incident should call Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS.
