Austin Peay players swept the Ohio Valley Conference weekly awards announced by the league today. Bowling Green junior Terry Taylor won the OVC Player of the Week award for the fifth time this season after averaging 24 and 10.7 rebounds in three games last week. Taylor had 32 points in the Governors win over UT Martin Saturday night.
Jordyn Adams was chosen as Co-OVC Freshman of the Week, winning the award for the fourth time this season. The Silsbee, TX native averaged 16.7 points and 3.3 rebounds in three games last week. Adams scored 22 points in last Thursday’s win over Southeast Missouri.
Austin Peay returns to OVC action Thursday night at Tennessee Tech.
