An Auburn woman was killed in a two-vehicle wreck on US 68 in Logan County Thursday morning.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Department investigated and determined 88-year old Emma Hansford of Auburn drove from Duncans Chapel Road onto US 68 and into the path of a vehicle operated by 24-year old Michael Claywell of Oakland.
Hansford was taken first to the Medical Center in Bowling Green for treatment of injuries and died as she was being transported to Vanderbilt in Nashville.
Claywell’s passenger, 50-year old Sheri Sowards of Lewisburg, was taken to Logan Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
