Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill and rookie wide receiver AJ Brown were honored today for their play in December. Tannehill was named as the AFC Offensive Player of the Month. Tannehill completed 90-132 passes for 1,322 yards with 12 touchdowns and just two interceptions in five games last month. Tannehill’s completion percentage in those games was 68.2 percent, and his passer rating was 124.6.
Brown received the AFC Rookie of the Month award for December. He had three 100-yard games last month. Brown had 21 catches for 470 yards and four touchdowns, in addition to a 49-yard touchdown run. The Titans begin play in the AFC playoffs Saturday night at New England.
