A man has been charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and cultivating marijuana following an investigation by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department.
According to a news release, deputies responded to a KY 181 North residence in Greenville for reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with 31-year Scott Brown, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. In the process of taking Brown into custody, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and packaging materials commonly associated with the distribution of narcotics.
A search warrant was executed on the residence, and inside deputies located growing marijuana, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia.
Brown was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Another resident, 40-year old Christopher Shelton, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and cultivating marijuana.
