A woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her mother in an incident on Cates Street in Hopkinsville Sunday.
Hopkinsville police responded to a Cates Street residence for reports of a disturbance, and investigation determined that 18-year old Makayla Paige had reportedly stabbed the victim multiple times during an altercation.
The victim went to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of wounds to her thigh and arms. Paige was arrested and charged with first-degree assault. There were reportedly several children at the residence at the time the incident occurred.
