Nick Richards had 13 points-including seven consecutive in overtime as 19th ranked Kentucky defeated fourth ranked Louisville 78-70 at Rupp Arena. Tyrese Maxey led the Wildcats-who ended a two game losing streak-with 27 points. Louisville was led in scoring by Stephen Enoch who had 18 points.
Kentucky improved to 9-3 and plays Missouri in its SEC opener next Saturday while Louisville is now 11-2 and opens ACC next Saturday against Florida State.
