Another incumbent Hopkinsville City Council member has filed for re-election and the deadline to do so is fast approaching.
City councilman for Ward 4, Democrat Paul Henson, has filed to seek re-election next year for that seat, according to the Christian County Clerk’s Office. Henson has served on council since 2007 and in several capacities, including on the Parks, Recreation, Connectivity Action Plan Committee, the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program Board and as Chairperson for the Hopkinsville Public Transit Board.
The filing deadline is January 10, so any interested in running for an office is encouraged to do so with the clerk’s office by that date.
