Logan County pursuit ends with arrest

A pursuit of a vehicle early Sunday morning on US 68 in Logan County ended with the driver being arrested.

Logan County Sheriff’s Sgt. David Kitchens attempted to stop a car for speeding about 12:30 a.m., but 23-year old Joshua Costas of Clarksville allegedly failed to stop and reached speeds of 110 mph.

After about 10 minutes of pursuit, Russellville police used a spike strips to disable the front tires of Costas’ car and he was arrested without further incident.

He was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, speeding, reckless driving, driving on a DUI suspended license and possession of an open alcohol container.
