Arrest made in shots fired incident from May

An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting incident from May of this year.

A warrant for complicity to first-degree wanton endangerment alleges 19-year old Payton Leneave of Hopkinsville was complicit in assisting an unknown person fire two gunshots at a home on May 20 in Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville police say Leneave was observed by several witnesses driving his car in the incident and they saw a passenger fire the shots.

Leneave had reportedly been involved in a relationship with a family member of an individual inside the home at the time.

No one was injured in the shooting and no other details are listed on the warrant.
