Sanctuary, Inc.—the Pennyrile region’s shelter for victims of domestic violence—has been very busy in 2019.

It says 168 individuals and families were offered services through Sanctuary’s emergency shelter this year and 1,302 individuals sought support through group and individual counseling and therapy sessions.

A total of 1,013 individuals accessed the 24/7 crisis hotline for safety planning and referrals and 92 families were financially assisted when securing keys to their very own homes.
