Several severely injured in Princeton Road crash

Several people were severely injured in a head-on collision Monday afternoon on Princeton Road about three and a half miles north of the Bypass.

Christian County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Jason Newby spoke to WHOP News at the scene and gave details on how the collision occurred.

The car was driven by 35-year old Robert Jackson of Marion and the truck by 32-year old Misty Quarles of Cerulean.

Quarles had three passengers–34-year old Marcus Quarles and two juveniles–also of Cerulean.

All five people involved in the crash were injured and four were flown to Nashville hospitals. Officials on scene said at least two of the victims were thought to have life-threatening injuries.

The Christian County Rescue Squad had to extricate multiple patients from both vehicles.
