Madisonville police are investigating after a Dollar General store was robbed Friday night in that city.
It happened about 8:30 p.m. at the store on West Noel Avenue, according to a news release, which says a black male wearing blue sweat pants, a blue hooded sweat shirt and boots entered the store and demanded money by the threat of violence.
Police say he used a piece of cardboard to hide his identity.
