Don’t drink and drive this holiday season

Multiple law enforcement agencies have extra patrols out this holiday season looking to stop and arrest anyone driving impaired.

Christian County Sheriff Tyler DeArmond says it’s simple—if you plan to drink, plan to have a safe and sober ride home.

He says they’ll also be looking for other unsafe driving behaviors during their extra patrols.

If you know packages are arriving Monday or Christmas Eve, the sheriff says make arrangements to get them inside quickly to avoid becoming the victim of a thief.

The increased enforcement continues through New Year’s Day.
