The Courier Journal reports retiring Boyle County head coach Chuck Smith has been named as its 2019 Coach of the Year. It’s the fifth time he’s won the award tying the mark of Belfry’s Phillip Haywood. Smith announced his retirement earlier this week after working in his second stint as Rebels head coach.
