A Christian County Grand Jury returned multiple indictments Friday for multiple different charges, including robbery, wanton endangerment and abuse.
Indicted for 11 counts of first-degree wanton endangerment is 22-year old Jacorey Majors of Owensboro, for allegedly went to a residence at Pennyrile Homes in May and pulled a handgun, firing shots towards the victims. He reportedly when to the residence to antagonize the victim and their family, including three children, and when told to leave is when he allegedly pulled the gun. One of the victims also brandished a gun in response, which is when Majors allegedly began firing shots. At least one of the bullets struck another apartment, putting more people at risk.
The grand jury indicted 54-year old Blake Jump of Pembroke with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12 years of age. He is alleged to have touched the female victim’s private areas on two different occasions between the times of July and October of 2019.
Indicted for first-degree robbery, first-degree wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence is 24-year old James Browne of Hopkinsville. He allegedly took a gun from a woman in November, pointed it at her and then ran for about two miles, jumping fences and going through back yards of homes.
Thirty-four year old Ronnie McKnight is charged with second-degree robbery for allegedly pushing the 52-year old male victim against a wall and taking his wallet containing over $400 in November.
