Unemployment up slightly from one year ago

Unemployment was up slightly from one year ago last month in Kentucky.

The commonwealth’s November seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.4 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics. That was up a tenth of a percentage point from the 4.3 percent recorded for the state in November 2018.

The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for November 2019 was 3.5 percent, down a tenth of a point from October, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
