Suspects arrested in Clarksville home invasion, truck theft

Clarksville police say two suspects sought for an armed home invasion and theft of a pickup from Thursday morning have been arrested in Missouri.

Police say 41-year old Brady Witcher and 28-year old Brittany McMillan were the suspects in a shoplifting incident on Wednesday at the Sango Walmart and then went inside an unlocked apartment on Westfield Court as they eluded officers.

The suspects were armed with guns and reportedly tied up the occupants of the home and forced them into a closet. The victims remained there until Witcher and McMillan let them out early Thursday morning. Two separate confrontations began in different locations in the home between the suspects and the married couple who are in their 20’s.

The male victim was stabbed in the incident and the female victim was able to wrestle away the gun from McMillan.

Police say the victims were then able to escape and notify authorities that the suspects had fled in a stolen white 2012 GMC Z71 with Texas tags and tow mirrors.

The male victim was taken to a Nashville hospital and was expected to be released soon. The female victim was treated and released from Tennova Health Hospital.

Witcher and McMillan were arrested in Hazelwood, Missouri, but the stolen pickup has not been recovered.
