Daniel Cameron has been sworn in as Kentucky’s 51st attorney general and the first African American to hold the position.
Cameron says he will work to be a “voice for the voiceless” in Kentucky.
Cameron was sworn in several weeks early to fill the vacancy left by his predecessor, Governor Andy Beshear.
It is an honor to serve the citizens of Kentucky as Attorney General, and it will be my top priority to defend our Commonwealth and protect Kentuckians.
There is incredible work to be done, and the people of Kentucky have my unwavering commitment. pic.twitter.com/1A1EjbOOPb
