Two suspects were arrested early Sunday morning for a burglary in Todd County.
Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy Mitch Frazier stopped a pickup driven by 48-year old Jerry Britt of Auburn on Coal Bank Road for equipment and traffic violations.
A search of the truck’s toolbox allegedly revealed a security camera and two 100 foot cords that had been reported stolen Saturday night in a burglary on Cordis Kenner Road. The victim in the burglary was able to come to the scene and identify the items as his property, according to the report.
Britt and his passenger, 31-year old William Bryant of Sharon Grove, were both arrested for second-degree burglary and receiving stolen property.
Britt was additionally charged with failure to wear seat belts and not having his license plate illuminated.
