Madisonville senior running back Jeriah Hightower has been named the Kentucky Prep Gridiron Player of the Year. Hightower was the state’s leading rusher in the 2019 season with 3,001 yards on 248 carries and 33 touchdowns.
According to a news release, Trigg County football senior Cam Jordan will sign his collegiate letter next week to play for the Naval Academy. Jordan threw for 1,857 yards with 21 touchdowns and three interceptions for the Wildcats in 2019 and rushed for 623 yards and 18 scores. The signing will take place next Wednesday.
