A Fairview woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Pembroke-Oak Grove Road Friday afternoon.
The woman had been southbound just south of Anderson Lane when she hydroplaned as she attempted to pass another vehicle, according to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, which says she then went off the roadway and struck an embankment.
The driver was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The Pembroke Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
