AT&T has recently activated five additional towers in Todd County.
A news release says many AT&T and FirstNet subscribers will receive a boost in service with the new cell towers to enhance 4G LTE coverage and help give faster, more reliable wireless service.
The towers are located along Highland Lick Road and West Jefferson Davis Highway in Elkton, Guthrie Road and Fulcher School Road.
The towers also include equipment to enable fixed wireless internet service.
State Representative Jason Petrie is quoted as saying, “High speed broadband is essential to operations on the job and activities at home, and the expansion of the communications networks in Todd County is key to bringing future investment and providing our citizens with the tools they need to be successful.”
