Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill was named today as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Tannehill was 21 of 27 passing for 391 yards and three touchdowns in Tennessee’s 42-21 win over Oakland this past Sunday. The Titans and Houston Texans meet Sunday in Nissan Stadium. Both teams are tied for first place in the AFC South.
According to a Twitter post reported by a Nashville radio station, there’s a chance the Titans game against New Orleans in Week 16 December 22nd at Nissan Stadium could be the Sunday night game. The Tweet indicates the NFL will exercise the six day window on whether to flex the game and move it. The game is currently scheduled for 12 noon.
