Three charged with first-degree robbery

 

 

 

 

 

Two Cadiz residents and an Owensboro native were arrested in Hopkinsville Monday night and charged with first-degree robbery following an incident at Burkes Outlet.

According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers responded to Burkes on Fort Campbell Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. for reports that a male victim had been assaulted and had cash, a cellphone and clothing stolen from him.

Three suspects—18-year old Tyler Parker of Cadiz, 19-year old Jordan Shemwell of Cadiz and 19-year old Zyair Clack of Owensboro—were located in a vehicle described by the victim. The victim was also reportedly able to identify them as the suspects.  A search of the vehicle reportedly revealed the victim’s property, a handgun and a digital scale.

The three men were each charged with first-degree robbery, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Parker was additionally charged with possession of marijuana and Clack was additionally charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

All three were lodged in the Christian County Jail.
