Christian County won its sixth consecutive King of the Bluegrass championship Saturday at Fairdale High School in Louisville. Jakerion Merritt won his fourth straight King of the Bluegrass individual title at 145 and was named the event’s Most Outstanding Wrestler. Niko Bussell won his fourth straight K.O.B. title at 220, Neal Aldridge, Austin Grant-Hall, and Gage Fowler each won their third straight K.O.B titles. The Colonels return to action next Saturday at the Beech Invitational in Hendersonville, TN.
