Another warrant has been served in connection with an alleged fake money scheme.
The warrant for engaging in organized crime was served Friday afternoon on North Iris Drive against 24-year old Cortez Johnson of Hopkinsville.
It alleges that Johnson worked with three or more persons to commit multiple acts of theft by deception when they manufactured counterfeit money and then exchanged it for goods or services.
As previously reported, Hopkinsville police allege that in October, 24-year old Jason Godsey printed fake money and gave it to Johnson, who used it in three separate incidents.
Godsey was also recently served with a warrant for engaging in organized crime.
