Former Auburn quarterback Joey Gatewood announced Thursday night on social media he is transferring to Kentucky. CBS Sports.com reports Gatewood attended Kentucky’s win over Louisville last weekend. There was no ill will with Gatewood leaving Auburn as he wanted to go somewhere where he could be a starting quarterback. He will sit out the 2020 season and have two years of eligibility remaining when he returns in 2021.
