College Basketball
Jordan Nwora had 22 points and 12 rebounds as newly top-ranked Louisville slid past number-four Michigan 58-43 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Cardinals held the Wolverines to a season-low 26 percent shooting mark. Steven Enoch added 13 points and 10 boards as Louisville improved to 8-and-0.

In other action: Former Christian County standout De’Torrion Ware had a team high 19 points and seven rebounds off the bench in Jacksonville State’s 67-60 loss to George Mason.

Wright State edged Western Kentucky 76-74, Vanderbilt routed Buffalo 90-76, Missouri State slid by Murray State 71-69 and Arkansas defeated Austin Peay 69-61.

Women’s play saw Murray State ease by Evansville 71-69.

Tonight’s Games: 21st ranked Tennessee welcomes Florida A&M. Women’s action has Kentucky hosting Charlotte and Western Kentucky entertains Oklahoma.

College Football
Ohio State will go into championship weekend as the top team in the College Football Playoff selection committee’s rankings, followed by LSU, Clemson and Georgia. Several conference championships will be played this weekend including LSU facing Georgia in the SEC title game.

NHL
Nikita Kucherov scored 2:35 into overtime as the Tampa Bay Lightning nipped the Nashville Predators 3-2 at Bridgestone Arena. Calle Jarnkrok and Kyle Turris lit the lamp in defeat as the Preds lost for the third time in four games. Nashville is off until Saturday when it hosts the New Jersey Devils.

NBA
The Memphis Grizzlies will be in Chicago tonight to take on the Bulls. Ja Morant will sit out with back spasms. Memphis is 6-and-14 and looks to bounce back after losing seven-of-eight.

Speaking of Ja Morant, he received the NBA Western Conference Rookie of the Month for November Tuesday. Morant averaged almost 19 points per game for the Grizzlies last month.
