A woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Russellville Tuesday morning.
That’s according to the Russellville Police Department, which says that a vehicle operated by 37-year old Robert Matlock of Hopkinsville failed to yield to the right of way as he turned eastbound from the US 68 KY 80 Bypass onto West Ninth Street. As Matlock drove through the intersection, he struck another vehicle driven by 76-year old Marilyn King of Adairville.
A passenger in King’s vehicle, 58-year old Patsy Hale of White House, Tennessee, was taken to NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield for complaints of knee pain. Both Matlock and King refused EMS transportation at the scene.
The Russellville Police Department was assisted on scene by the Russellville Fire Department and Logan County EMS.
