College Basketball
Women’s action from Sunday saw 14th ranked Kentucky rout Austin Peay 81-52. The Wildcats improved to 7-0 and are back in action Wednesday morning hosting Charlotte. The Lady Governors fell to 5-2 and travel to Alabama A&M on Saturday.

20th ranked Tennessee improved to 7-0 in downing Air Force in Knoxville 81-54. The Lady Vols entertain Texas in the Big 12/SEC Challenge next Sunday.

Ninth ranked Kentucky doesn’t return to action until Saturday afternoon when they host Fairleigh Dickinson. Pregame coverage for the 3 pm tipoff airs at 1:30 on Lite Rock 98.7. A reminder, Coach John Calipari’s weekly talk show airs at 6 this evening on Lite Rock 98.7 and lite987whop.com.

College Football
Kentucky concluded the regular season Saturday with a fine win over Louisville. It’s now wait and see which bowl game the Wildcats will go to. Coach Mark Stoops weekly talk show airs at 5 this evening on Lite Rock 98.7 and lite987whop.com.

Louisville, Western Kentucky and Tennessee are also bowl eligible and will find out where they are headed next Sunday along with Kentucky.
After routing Furman 42-6 in Fortera Stadium Saturday, Austin Peay travels to Sacramento State for round two of the FCS playoffs on Saturday night.

Tye Smith returned a blocked field goal 63 yards for a fourth quarter touchdown to break a tie as the Tennessee Titans beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 on the road in Indianapolis. Derrick Henry ran for 149 yards on 26 totes, including a 13-yard TD run. Ryan Tannehill threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns as Tennessee improved to 5-and-1 since he replaced Marcus Mariota as the starting QB.

The 7-5 Titans are one game back of Houston in the AFC South after the Texans held off New England 28-22. Tennessee plays at Oakland next Sunday.

The Memphis Grizzlies snapped a six game losing skid with a 114-107 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday. Ja Morant did not play in the game. The Grizzlies are home to the Indiana Pacers tonight.
