Hopkinsville’s historic Alhambra Theatre was packed Saturday night for Wynonna & the Big Noise at Hoptown Hopfest.
Judd mixed in hits that have made her a country music superstar for over 30 years with Christmas music to kick off the holiday season. Wynonna and her band played for nearly two hours after up and coming sister country music singers Walker County opened the show.
The event raised money for the Alhambra and Pennyroyal Arts Council Executive Director Margaret Prim says it was one of the biggest acts the building has hosted.
She says the Alhambra has a full schedule for the Christmas season.
Prim and co-organizer Michael Pendleton gave special thanks to all of the sponsors who helped make the Hopfest and concert fundraiser successful again.
