Temperatures in the mid-30’s didn’t stop bout 1,500 people from turning out to run, walk or jog Hopkinsville’s 19th Annual Turkey Trot.
Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman says he knew it was going to be a good morning before he arrived because of a record number of registrations.
Something new this year is a collaboration with Clarksville and Fort Campbell for the Tri-Cities Fun Run Series.
He says one can sign up for the Fort Campbell and Clarksville events on their respective Facebook pages.
The Turkey Trot featured the annual costume contests and many participants in the 5k also brought their four-legged friends along.
