Crittenden Co. woman hurt in Madisonville crash

A Crittenden County woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Madisonville.

It happened about 1:20 p.m. at South Main Street and McLaughlin Avenue, according to Madisonville police, who say a 16-year old female was turning left onto South McLaughlin from Main.

She misjudged the clearance to make the turn and struck a vehicle operated by 50-year old Tammy Lemon of Marion, who was stopped facing west on McLaughlin.

Lemon was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was hurt in the crash.
