A local man was injured in an accident Saturday afternoon at Lafayette Road and Holiday Park Drive.
It happened about 3:30 p.m. and a report from Hopkinsville police says 76-year old Ann Cox of Hopkinsville turned left from Holiday Park into the path of a northbound pickup on Lafayette driven by 52-year old Jeffrey Strader of Hopkinsville.
Strader was not wearing a seat belt and his head struck the windshield, causing a large laceration. He was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Cox did not complain of any injuries.
