A suspect who allegedly stole merchandise and equipment from Walmart in June was arrested by Hopkinsville police Sunday.
An arrest warrant for 23-year old Ernest Liberty of Hopkinsville alleges he worked with a woman to switch barcodes on items at Walmart and paid $80 less than their value.
He’s also accused of stealing a handheld computer and label printer that are used to create barcodes. Those items have a combined value of about $3,100.
Liberty is charged with felony theft and complicity to misdemeanor theft.
