A Hopkinsville man sought on a warrant was arrested following a foot pursuit early Thursday morning.
An arrest citation for 33-year old Albert Seabrooks of Hopkinsville says he was observed by an officer riding his bicycle northbound on North Main Street at about 12:30 a.m. with no lights on the bike.
A traffic stop was initiated and that’s when Seabrooks allegedly took off, running through several yards until he was located on Braden Street hiding under a vehicle in a driveway.
A search of his person allegedly revealed a baggie of marijuana and a computer check showed he was sought on a warrant for failing to appear in court.
He was arrested and charged with fleeing or evading police and possession of marijuana, in addition to being served with the warrant.
