More local industries are looking to hire employees who lost their jobs with the Ebonite closure.
Metalsa will have a hiring event from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kentucky Career Center on Riverfront Drive. They are hiring for production managers with a starting wage of $14.50 and anyone can apply.
Meanwhie, TGASK is looking to directly hire former Ebonite employees—especially those with a long work histories and experience in shipping and with forklifts. Those interested can apply here.
And TRAD North America will host its own job fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at its facility on Frank Yost Lane.
