Lewisburg man injured in Russellville collision

The Russellville Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle collision that sent a Lewisburg man to the hospital for injuries.

According to a news release, officers responded to the intersection of North Main Street and U.S. 68 KY 80 for reports of a collision with injuries. Investigation reportedly revealed that a vehicle driven by 62-year old Joe Westbrook of Lewisburg failed to yield to a red light and continued into the intersection.  His vehicle collided with another driven by 58-year old Jeffrey Martin of Bowling Green.

Westbrook was transported to Logan Memorial Hospital for complaints of neck pain, while Martin was not injured.
