Kentucky State Police are investigating a collision from Saturday night that killed a Munfordville man.
A news release says 27-year old Jacob Riggs of Munfordville was eastbound on Mammoth Cave Street in Cave City when he went off the right shoulder of the road, over-corrected and struck a westbound SUV driven by 28-year old Ashley Vance of Canmer.
Riggs, who was not wearing his seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Vance and her passenger, 40-year old Byron Logsdon of Cave City, were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
