A Cerulean man was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary Friday after he was caught stealing copper wire from a residence in Hopkinsville.
The location is not listed on the Hopkinsville police report, which states that 55-year old Andrew Wright of Cerulean was caught at the residence after gaining entry on two different occasions. He allegedly took copper wiring and plumbing from the house, and during the forage for the materials, reportedly caused over $1,500 worth of damages to the property.
Wright was charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
