Freedom Elementary School’s Eagle Family Resource and Youth Services Center has been honored with the Harry J. Cowherd Award of Excellence.
According to a news release, the award was presented by the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services and Director Chris Dudley was on hand to accept the award Thursday in Lexington.
The award goes to the Family Resource Center that best provides children and families such services like family skills training, parent and child education, daycare provider support and training, and health services and referral.
