Evansville upsets top ranked Kentucky

For the first time in school history, the University of Evansville defeated a ranked opponent last night, downing number one Kentucky 67-64 in Rupp Arena. K.J. Riley scored 18 points to lead the Purple Aces, who improved to 2-and-0. Sam Cunliffe added 17 off the bench in the win for coach and former UK player Walter McCarty:

Immanuel Quickley led UK with 16 points and nine boards. Tyrese Maxey finished with 15 points for the Wildcats, who were just 4-of-17 from three point range. Kentucky shot 37-percent overall and fell to 2-and-1. Coach John Calipari says give Evansville all the credit:
