Weather was likely a factor in a multi-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on I-24.
It involved seven vehicles and temporarily shut down I-24 in both directions near Exit 89, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Michael Pendleton says one person was transported by ambulance from the scene to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Kentucky State Police are investigating the accident and the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, Oak Grove Fire Department and Christian County Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
Name of those involved have not been released.
