Pam Rudd was inducted into the Kentucky Parks and Recreation Society Hall of Fame Wednesday night.
Rudd will have worked for Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation for 49 years in January and says she was surprised and humbled by the honor.
She says she still enjoys going to work each day and doesn’t intend to retire anytime soon.
Tab Brockman is the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation superintendent and says the entire department is happy for Rudd.
The award was presented at the Kentucky Parks and Recreation Society banquet at Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
