An investigation by Hopkinsville police on College Street Tuesday afternoon led to the arrest of a woman on stalking and burglary charges.
An arrest citation for 37-year old Jessica Young of Hopkinsville alleges she went to the male victim’s home at about 11:45 a.m. and threatened and then left before police arrived. The man called police again later in the day when she allegedly returned and entered his home without permission.
Young reportedly grabbed a knife and threatened the male victim, allegedly biting the victim twice during a scuffle that ensued.
Police say Young has pled guilty twice in the past to similar incidents with the same victim and the level of violence has escalated.
Young was located two blocks from the home and arrested for first-degree stalking, second-degree burglary and public intoxication.
