The juvenile who was struck by a vehicle on Lafayette Road Friday night is in stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
According to a Hopkinsville police report, Jay Mulero had been attempting to cross the road on Lafayette when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 23-year old Morgan Meacham of Hopkinsville. Mulero had attempted to run across the road near the intersection of the Bypass. Meacham was reportedly unable to see him, and he was struck.
Mulero was taken by Air Evac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
