A pedestrian was flown to a Nashville hospital with severe injuries after being struck by an SUV on Lafayette Road Friday night.
The male juvenile was attempting to dart across Lafayette just north of the Bypass when he was struck by a northbound SUV, according to Hopkinsville Police. The victim was taken by ambulance to a waiting Air Evac helicopter to fly him to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries.
The victim’s name has not been released.
