Three people were injured in a hit and run collision Thursday evening at South Campbell and East 18th Street.
It happened about 5:30 p.m. and the collision report from Hopkinsville police says 27-year old Corshica Boyd of Hopkinsville was stopped at the intersection when her car was struck by an SUV driven by 31-year old Marketta Ivory of Pembroke.
Ivory kept driving, but contacted police later in the day and claimed Boyd had not stopped at the stop sign and struck her vehicle.
Boyd and her two juvenile passengers were taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. Ivory was not injured and everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
