A Hopkinville police officer and Todd County sheriff’s deputy graduated from the Department of Criminal Justice basic training academy Thursday.
Hopkinsville police officer Patrick Linane and Todd County Deputy Mitch Frazier completed the 20 weeks of training in Richmond, which consisted of 800 hours of recruit-level instruction.
Linane received the Outstanding Performance Award for Physical Fitness.
Frazier, who was already serving as a special deputy, received a physical fitness excellence award.
